As the front man of the driving Toronto-via-Boston rock outfit, Haard. Boston-born Patrick Benti first began playing music at the age of four. On top of his work as a rock 'n' roll guitarist, Patrick has done film and television soundtrack work, behind the scene production and enjoys a budding songwriting career.
Patrick continues to be an integral rock 'n' roll force for some of Canada's biggest artists. Up until recently Patrick was a recognized fixture as the guitarist for Thornley. The group has scored multiple #1 singles and toured internationally in front of thousands of fans. He's criss-crossing North America "many times," and all those tours and experiences with artists like Big Wreck, The Tragically Hip, Kathleen Edwards and Colin James have served him well.
Patrick, the primary composer of debut album "Savour The Flavour" features contributions from Mike Mangini (Extreme, Steve Vai), the Guinness record holder as the world's fastest drummer, Dave Henning (Big Wreck), Ed Mortenson, Jeff Eager, and was produced by John Whynot (Blue Rodeo, The Watchmen, Austin Powers soundtrack).
First single "Harvard Yard," a particularly sly tribute to his Boston accent.
