For this good-natured Alberta native, the passion for music began early, as a child exploring the fundamentals of music through piano. Many other instruments would soon find their way into Eager's vast repertoire, including guitar, bass and vocals. His disciplined character permitted him to front the funk rock act - Ultraviolet Catastrophe for four years, while achieving a business degree at the University of Calgary.

After graduation, Jeff headed east to further his professional career and hone his musical aptitude. With his consistent determination to excel Jeff dove head first into the Toronto music scene playing guitar and bass in various blues, soul and rock bands. Juggling multiple projects week after week gained him a reputation as a solid and diverse player.

The hard work paid off granting the privilege to play with many of Toronto's finest, including Al Webster (Colin James/Jeff Healey), Tony Rabalao (Joydrop/Big Sugar) and Dave Cohen (Amanda Marshall/Johnny Reid) and has established this multifaceted artist as a respected live performer and an accomplished music teacher.

Now, Jeff Eager goes full steam ahead as bassist for the electrifying HAARD, alongside equally talented band mates: Patrick Benti (lead vocal/guitar) and Ed Mortenson (drums).
